Areesha Majeed

Co-Founder

Born and raised in Chicago, Areesha has been dancing since she was a young girl with her favorite styles being Bollywood and lyrical. During her collegiate years, she led Northwestern Deeva and competed on the DDN circuit. Professionally, she is an Actuary at BCBS and is excited to foster a South-Asian focused dance community in Chicago.

Roohi Hussain

Co-Founder

Roohi danced as a young girl in Pakistan before moving to Chicago and continuing her passion. She danced with Chicago Adaa and led the team her last year before graduating from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Professionally, she is a Product Manager at Allstate and an MBA student at Northwestern. Roohi is excited to share her love of dance through Chi Tempo!
